I am a 25 year old Canadian girl with a fascination with wellness and spirituality, and an insatiable need for adventure and connection.  I want to contribute positively to an environment that shares my passion for all things yoga and wellness.  Spreading my knowledge about the practice of yoga and providing people a safe place to play, grow, and explore is the aim of my pursuit as a teacher.  Yoga has been a sanctuary, a healer, a playmate, and a best friend to me and I want to share the magic it has brought me with the world.

English Instructor

Sogang Language Programme, SLP, Ilsandonggu, South Korea

I worked with children aged four to fifteen to help them acquire basic and conversational English abilities.  This position required thorough lesson planning, putting on engaging presentations, listening to the needs of students, and adjusting lessons to fit the diverse personalities and levels of my classes.  I would often incorporate yoga poses and breathing exercises into my classes to help students relax and find a deeper focus.

Energy Exchange Volunteer

Hot Yoga Wellness, Burlington, Ontario, Canada

As an energy exchange volunteer, I would come to the studio for five hours every Sunday morning to clean the studio, reception area, and locker rooms, as well as greet visitors at the front desk when needed.  During this time, I gained a deeper appreciation for my teachers there, developing an in-depth understanding of what it means to be a yoga teacher and how important creating a safe, welcoming space for students is to the success of a studio.
