Bachelor's of Arts
I spent a semester of my junior year in florence, italy studying art and art history. This was one of the most influential times of my life. It taught me to live in a more simplistic manner and take in the small joys of the day. It also helped me to develop a passion for world travel while broadening my cultural perspective.

New Media Intern
Organizing for America was a grassroots political organization that helped to promote Barack Obama's political campaign. Under the direction of the Community Organizing for the Minneapolis area, I was responsible for creating a short video illustrating minnesotan's views on health care reform. I interviewed a wide variety of people from minneapolis from students to politicians. I was able to attend and shoot footage at political rallies. I compiled and edited the footage to form a short video to be used for the health care reform campaign. I was able to upload it on Organizing for America's Youtube channel and it was approved in Washington D.C. I was formally awarded at a North Minneapolis rally in which my video was played in front of an audience. Along with other OFA volunteers I was also thanked on a conference call from Barack Obama himself.
