My name is Taryn Solomon and I am from Dallas, Texas.  I was born in Cape Town, South Africa where my entire family still resides.  Yearly vacations to see them have made me a very cultured, well-traveled individual.  I love the idea of pursuing new opportunities that are out of my comfort zone.  I thrive on challenges and can always adjust to a new environment.  Moving to Tuscaloosa, Alabama in 2006 was very exciting for me.  I obtained a Bachelors of Science in May 2010 and am pursuing my second Bachelors degree in nutrition and dietetics.
