HARARE t/a SPAR Distribution Centre Period Position Human Resources Officer Reporting to Human Resources Director Duties Develops and executes Management and Organisation Development interventions in line with Company objectives and strategic priorities; Undertakes that the human resources policies are consistently applied within SPAR DC and Freshpro from recruitment to termination policy; Be heavily involved in internal and external benchmarking processes-this will involve a significant degree of changing the organisation. Facilitates Management Development Programmes for all levels of management and creates a learning environment in the organisation; Drives the Performance Management process to ensure the enhancement and embedment of a high-level performance culture; Be heavily involved in internal and external benchmarking processes-this will involve a significant degree of changing the organisation. Participates in defining short to long term manpower plans and to ensure that the organisation has professional first class recruitment processes, selection techniques and properly trained interviewers/assessors in order to ensure that the best talent is recruited and retained; Implements, co-ordinates and monitors all performance and development related processes in order to ensure that all managers and employees are provided with the appropriate skills in the right place at the right time. Co-ordinates, guides and monitors the job description/evaluation processes in order to ensure that all the individual contributions are a reflection of the overall company objectives. Checks that there is strict adherence to provisions of appropriate disciplinary Codes and that there is a harmonious industrial relations environment which supports business partnership in the organisation; Conducts periodic staff attitude surveys and provides general human resources support to Heads of Department through scheduled visits.
