Senior GreenKeeper

Mar 1999 - Mar 2009
Luttrellstown Golf & Country Club

Specialist Spray Technician & Irrigation Technician. Solely responsible for the development, implementation and upkeep of a bespoke training system, designed to improve the course from a visual and playability standpoint.  The training program focuses on individual team members and aspects of each job to be implemented on a permanent basis.

From 2003, a complete 18 hole redevelopment was undertaken.  Phased over 3 years, the project transformed the course into a modern tournament-friendly design.  The challenge during this project was to always have 9 holes in play for the membership at a standard which Luttrellstown was reknowned for. The planning and organisation along with the communication needed to suceed during this ambitious undertaking, were areas which have helped me grow and develop vital leadership skills.
