Use a variety of police and investigative methods and techniques to resolve accident investigations and respond to all traffic accidents occurring on Fort Gordon, GA; Thoroughly investigate, supervise the accident scene, and/or direct all events that transpire at the scene of an accident by reviewing statements taken, interviewing witnesses, interrogating suspects, and reconstructing the scene of an accident; Ensure photos and proper measurements are taken at the accident scene in order to reconstruct the events of the accident; Perform traffic law enforcement using specialized equipment such as radar and breathalyzer instruments; Qualified and certified in these specialized areas and on the necessary equipment; Conduct investigative stops, question, detain, and issue traffic citations; Successfully completed the Traffic Crash Reconstruction Course offered by the Institute of Police Technology and Management, Georgia Intoxilyzer Model 5000 Certification, and Georgia Radar Operator Course; Individually processed over twenty "Driving Under the Influence" cases; Assisted co-workers in the detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing of over twenty "Driving Under the Influence" cases; Instructor for the Fort Gordon, GA Law Enforcement Certification Course in the topics of Responding to a Traffic Accident, Secure a Traffic Accident Scene, and Driving Under the Influence Detection and Field Sobriety Testing; Witness in Federal Court to convict subjects in various area of the law.
