     1997-2004--I worked with Tim Jones at every Summer in the Son at Kentucky Christian University helping to:  teach workshops on Drama and the Creative Arts, played drums during each mornings "rise and shine" comedy show, and help create other printed materials to be handed out to the 2000 participants of the convention.  1994-2003--I worked at various camps and retreats as the special speaker in: PN,TN, KY, IN, IL, FLA, and Maryland  2003-2004--I was on the planning committee that created, organized, and implemented Junior High Challenge, a junior high discipleship event attended by 900 students held on the campus of Kentucky Christian University.  2002-2005--I wrote the devotional quiet time material for both Summer in the Son, and Junior High Challenge. 2004--I taught a week long workshop on spiritual gifts at Junior High Challenge.   I am also presently a member of the Indiana Army National Guard  

Summary

I have been working in the Social Services, Case Management professions for some years now and feel that my experience within the Parents and Friends organization as well as my training and experience within the Army National Guard make me the perfect candidate for employment in a position that utilizes my leadership and people skills

Interest

Along with Ministry, I am a Musician having played drums in professional settings and as member of a worship band for nearly 25 years.  I love to read, cook, and play with my dog Zoe.

Coordinator of Adult Guardianship Program

I started with the Council on Aging’s parent company Parents and Friends as a direct care staff Team Leader and have worked myself up to being the Coordinator of the Adult Guardianship Program.In that capacity I function as Power of Attorney and or Guardian for incapacitated adults in the community who have no voice of their own, and no family or friends willing to step up and be that voice for them.  I left this position to train for a deployment with the Indiana National Guard with a civilian employer.

Junior High Pastor/Pastor of Student Ministries

Countryside Christian Church

I started at Countryside as the Junior High Pastor and earlier in 2004 was asked to take over the entire student ministries program. While at Countryside I had a combined junior and senior high program of aprox. 200 students.A growth from aprox 115 since Feb 2002.I was involved with all areas of the ministry, with my primary responsibilities being the training and recruiting of youth staff, casting and implementing an overall vision of student ministries, and the main teaching every week for both junior and senior high.I was also instrumental in organizing the first ever, all junior high, worship band. Countryside was a Church of nearly 1200 people and went through a tumultuous leadership change and has since change its name to Christ Church, there website can be found at: http://www.ChristChurchNWI.com

Youth Counselor Supervisor/Public School Liason

Brooklawn was essentially a medium security youth group home and residential complex that  housed violent teen offenders, and children who were not able to be place or sustained int he foster care system.My Job was three fold:

1-Supervise Junior Youth Workers in the day to day care of the residents.

2-Work alongside the counselors, helping them to implement the Individual Treatment Plans for each resident.In that capacity I ran group therapy sessions, tutored in life skills, and also tutored in educational training.

3-Work along-side public school officials in helping to keep kids on track with educational goals

I left Brooklawn to accept a youth ministry position working with Junior High kids

Rice Audubon Youth Development Center

Rice Audubon was essentially a maximum security youth jail that was part of the Department of Juvenile Justice program of Kentucky, and housed violent teen offenders.My Job was two fold:
