Designs HVAC system for low and high-rise buildings.

Calculates heating and cooling loads using Carrier Hourly Analysis Program(HAP) and CLIMAWIN softwares.

Studies air balancing of HVAC system.

Sizes and selects AC equipment to be used for HVAC system using Trane Official Product Selection System(TOPSS), Greenheck Computer-Aided Product Selection(CAPS).

Sizes ducts, chilled water and refrigerant pipes.

Sizes and selects supply, return, extract grilles. Calculates static pressure drop of AHUs, fans, and pumps.

Studies fire strategy report and applies fire and/or smoke dampers, fire-rated insulation to HVAC system.

Designs and prepares the sketch of ducting and piping layout.

Monitors the progress of drawing production and checks drawings prepared by draftsmen.

Prepares the equipment schedule.

Designs slab/wall openings and concrete pad, and coordinates these designs to structural engineer.

Coordinates location of ceiling diffusers and access panels to interior decorator.

Reviews tender documents including scope of work, and specifications prior to preparing HVAC Bill-of-Quantity.

Delegates tasks to draftsmen and guides them in taking off material quantities.

Prepares HVAC BOQ and submits to section head for review and approval.

Reviews IFC documents and leads the production of shop drawings.

Prepares technical queries for items deviating from the project specification, scope of work, or other issues affecting the HVAC design.

Reviews design change orders and answers to technical queries and implements them to HVAC drawings. Attends to technical and coordination meetings with design engineers of other disciplines to highlight any problem that might occur and to resolve issues affecting the project completion.
