Filming  fulltime for our highly regarded and much loved 7PM show, Seven Sharp. Creating content alongside both journalists and producers, with both editorial and technical input required on a daily basis. I make decisions and set up all lighting and audio requirements, as well as filming and directing our shoots.

Producing creatively edited video content across both digital and free-to-air platforms on One News.

Producing content for both One News and Seven Sharp. This involves editing medium form pieces with an assigned journalist on the day, as well as brainstorming with our Team Leader and Camera Crew to create the right look and tone for each item we put to air.

I'm also tasked with providing video content solutions for our Online team, which involves creating and editing Natives ( working from a script, using After Effects to create subtitles and text heavy graphics ) for both our Facebook page, and the One News website.

Software used daily; Avid Media Composer, After Effects CC 2015, Photoshop CC 2015, Lightroom.

Filming  for Rogue Productions, contributing to ' All Talk with Anika Moa ' Season 2, which premieres May 3 2017 on Maori Television. Nine episodes revolving around Anika's cult following, and powerhouse personality. Shooting skits and two camera interviews with Anika. Editing skits and clips in Avid Media Composer for ' All Talk '  Contact: Vanessa Hawken @ Rogue Productions.

Freelancing for TVNZ on a casual basis, most recently with Seven Sharp Contact; Suzanne Burgess, Planning Producer.

One Person Crew. Filming currently on a freelance basis for One News, ( Contact: Andrew Fernie ) Mediaworks, Q + A, and previously Story, which involved covering the Kaikoura Earthquakes over the initial first 5 days. 

Filming for Amanda Millar Productions ( multi award-winning investigative journalist Amanda Millar, x 60minutes NZ ). Working currently on a project to document the Tiriti O Waitangi claims process for the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, funded by Creative NZ. ( Director; Andrew Dalziel ).

Current Affairs Camera Crew.

Filming high quality, engaging digital video content for TV3 across news, sport and entertainment, and editing informative and relevant news content.

Working with John Campbell, Presenter & Pip Keane, Executive Producer, Campbell Live .

Based solely in the field, paired with a journalist to cover stories for Campbell Live. Delivering edited stories from around the country, and around the world. Directing and planning the shape and feel of a current affairs story. Crafting content that asks the hard hitting questions on sensitive and relevant topics to our nation. The stories I worked on at Campbell Live gave extensive coverage to current affairs, and the local political climate. We spoke for people who otherwise wouldn't have had a voice.

Some stories covered; Zero Hour Contracts ( Burger King + McDonalds, with journalist Anna Burns-Francis ), Sydney Siege - Man Monis, Gunman ( with journalist Tristram Clayton, Lindt Café, Martin Place, Sydney ) ; Christchurch NZ February 2011 Earthquake, The Royal Wedding London 2011 ( The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Westminster Abbey, Wedding 2011 )

Duties included sending content back to the newsroom via BGAN Satellite, Editing in Avid Media Composer, FTP-ing and feeding shots back to the newsroom, both nationally and internationally. 

From February 2011 till December 2014, I worked between Campbell Live and 3News fulltime. I become a full time crew solely on Campbell Live in January 2015.

News crew. Shooting for all shows across 3News - Sunrise, 3News ( 6PM bulletin ), Nightline, and The Paul Henry Show. Shooting and editing news packages for all shows, from around the country and around the world. Editing in the field with Avid Newscutter. Working with a journalist to cover a breaking news story in the field.  Assembling, preparing and setting up ENG equipment prior to shooting, including tripods, monitors, lighting, cables and sound. Solving technical problems outside broadcast, for example dealing with changing light conditions in a live cross situation with a reporter crossing ' live ' directly to the newsroom. Repairing and maintaining ENG equipment. Operating as a one person crew.

Ops assistant at One News. Duties included weekend editing shifts, cutting stories for the 6PM news, editing in Avid Newscutter.  Running the Live Eye van, for Live Crosses into the 6PM bulletin. Operating the SNG truck. Making other cameramen coffee. ( Black, 2 sugars, if you're Terry Williams! )

Lisa Hoskin Design - Jewellery Designer. Creating original pieces for Lisa's range of innovative and exquisite jewellery. Originally conceived and designed by Lisa in the Italian town of Siena, her work is unique and made solely by hand. I was responsible for designing new pieces, occasionally in collaboration with Lisa, and making all her existing designs as well. The jewellery is created out of Italian crystal, and copper. Projects included designing exclusively for Kate Hawkesby to wear on Breakfast, TVNZ's early morning show over two seasons.

Assisting Kelley with many aspects of her Wedding photography business, from ordering stock, to meeting with clients, and assisting with making their day just that much smoother, to working as her assistant on the day  - changing film, organizing people for portraits, being an extra photographer should that be required, and liaising with PCL to print her work as per brief. Kelley originally trained as a Press photographer, before she started her wedding photography business, which lent itself to a beautiful editorial style of photography.
