Responsible for tactical management and the day-to-day collections operation. Ensured compliance with all rules and regulations governing collections and responsible for evaluating, developing and implementing collection techniques that will generate higher productivity and revenues while continually investigating and introducing process improvement measures.
Direct and develop the Middle manager level operational staff. Measure performance and monitor budgets, revenue and margins to successfully meet established targets for the business. Review collector and unit goals to support the monthly competitive strategies.
Develop Individualized Career Plans to encourage maximum performance in key areas while managing the expense. Provide Reports progress and deficiencies to keep next level of management informed of any significant changes.
I examine existing business and clients to develop programs, strategies and contests which motivate staff and maximize revenue and returns. Ensure the accurate, timely and organized collection of accounts. Adhere to and enforce FDCPA regulations, other federal/state/local laws & regulations and compliance to corporate policies. Monitor job performance and development through the use of weekly performance audits of random account reps.
Ensure contract compliance for assigned clients. Evaluate and recommend improvements in collection methods and techniques. Perform “second voicing” of accounts - Monitor collection results and track departmental progress. Problem-solve with management and employees regarding human resource issues and provide accurate policy interpretation, resolution and documentation.
