Tom Velken

Tom Velken established Lafayette, California’s Viking Real Estate Group in 1995 and has managed the firm as its president ever since. In this position, he oversees virtually all company operations and client engagement. Tom Velken began his career as as a financial analyst with the commercial real estate brokerage, Cushman and Wakefield. Thereafter, he became the senior corporate real estate financial analyst at Catellus Development Corporation. His responsibilities at Catellus entailed the financial analysis and evaluation of developed and undeveloped holdings worth approximately $2.7 billion.

Tomas Velken is a member of several important industry organizations, including the California Association of Mortgage Professionals (CAMP) and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB).

Outside of his professional activities, he enjoys staying active playing soccer and skiing. He also likes to support professional teams like the Minnesota Vikings and Manchester United.
