Although I have little experience in the professional business world I am excellent at analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of team members and creating the highest efficiency possible. I obtain this by creating a safe and professional work area that leaves room for creativity and cooperation.
I have had leadership positions in multiple organizations and the results that me and my teammates are able to achieve always compel me to become a leader over and again. My first leadership position was when I was a freshman in high school for the student union. Each class would have five to six representatives that would work together to organize school activities. The experience I gained from this was working together to accomplish a common goal.
However my first real leadership position would be in my third year of high school where I made the decision to join Link Crew, a program to help incoming freshmen transition into high school easier. Link Crew members would pair up and lead groups of freshmen, doing various exercises that would allow everyone to get to know each other better and allow for easier flow of communication and teamwork.
Now even though I am in college I have not stepped away from the leadership positions. I have joined the board of two different organizations, China Club and Asian Multicultural Organization. I find it thrilling to take on two different organizations and be involved in so many events that happen each week and I want to take it to the next level in the business world with my specialty in leadership and organization.
