I’ve been taught Japanese language for three years by Sakurai-sensei, since I was a completely rookie in this difficult task. She has always been very patient when I made mistakes, and she encourages me a lot. She uses a variety of teaching aids, such as listenings, test, conversation practice or pictures.

 The class activities are quite interesting, she tries to teach us not only the language as well as the japanese culture. We sing Christmas song at Christmas, we are taught about cooking recipes or even we made an attept of practising traditional caligraphy. I enjoy her classes very much.

I had the great opportunity to join this internet project, aiming to represent a key reference in the fashion business. I was in charge of various marketing activities through Japan, with leading fashion brands and shopping malls.

My responsibilities were:

  • Direct Marketing plan and execution
  • Direct contact with customers (leads, cold calls, etc)
  • Establishing new entries in our database and maintaining up-to-date  information (new openings, etc)

HIS is a Japanese based travel company with a worldwide network of 72 retail outlets in 62 overseas cities and 237 outlets throughout Japan. I had the chance to work for a branch of the HIS network travel offices and during my stay I was able to succesfully achieve the quotas asigned and to develop an important customer service for individuals and package tours.

I worked in a good atmosphere of hard working professionals in the travel business and I gained skills to achieve the benefit of my organization and the customer. HIS is a dynamic company, very flexible, positively dynamic and it is leading a competitive sector in Japan. I learned good values of hard-working, commercial and customer focus.
