Research Study Manager

As a Research Study Manager I’m responsible for maintaining regular communication with the Officers of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) regarding program administration, competitive and non-competitive renewals, and compliance reporting for the Chicago Developmental Center for AIDS Research (Chicago DCFAR).

  • Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process, ensuring adherence to the plan or making recommendations to help the team achieve their desired outcome.
  • Serve as primary contact to the NIH providing feedback regarding policies, reporting issues, compliance and management of intra-mural award program.
  • Coordinating competing and non-competing renewals, supplemental applications and progress reports.
  • Process post-award funding requests, working with Program Fiscal Administrator and Grants Administration.
  • Developing agenda and content for monthly, quarterly, and annual Executive meetings.
  • Supervise personnel supporting ad-hoc projects and program-wide initiatives.

Project Coordinator

The Program Coordinator has administrative responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Chicago Developmental Center for AIDS Research and Women’s Pathogenesis programs working collaboratively to ensure realization of the project program goals. This includes strategic planning; marketing, communications and public relations; internal and external events such as symposia for researchers; website, collateral materials development and maintenance to ensure greater public awareness of the D-CFAR and its programs.


SAP Training Deployment Analyst (Contractor)

Coordinate the training schedule and logistic activities associated with end-user training delivery, Train-the-Trainer, and pilot training sessions. This includes working with representatives from each location to build the schedule, understanding and working around constraints such as training environment/data usage, trainer availability, course order and duration, etc.

  •  Serve in the capacity of (LMS Admin and RMA Admin) to ensure schedules are properly loaded and maintained in the LMS; provide user support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Support integration and maintenance of training content/courses into the LMS. Coordinate material production and availability as needed for alternate delivery methods (i.e., CDs, portal postings, etc).
  • Support tactical training logistics-related communications with end-users (i.e., schedule notification, course changes) and trainers. Support communication activities regarding training deployment (e.g., content for site expos, communication messages, etc).

Project Coordinator (Contractor)

This role is responsible for providing administrative project support for the Storage Management group, IT Project Managers and other engineering team members. Monitoring help-desk cases (storage allocation and reclamation requests) and developing weekly production reports. In addition to updating help desk tickets in PeopleSoft and assigning SAN cases to engineers using SharePoint.
