Apprentice Mechanic

Vancouver Transmissons LTD (Current Employer)

Basic services, including oil changes, transmission services, transfer case services, differential services and rebuilding differentials. Removal and installation of transmissions, diagnosis of electrical issues, including power windows, lights, wipers, and other various vehicle electrical accessories. Checking for and performing tune ups, brake jobs, including disc and drum applications as well as refinishing on a brake lathe. Wheel alignments, tire rotation, balancing, and mounting. Taking yearly inventory, typing up work orders, calling customers and selling jobs. Calling local parts suppliers and ordering parts. Organization and management of stock of wiper blades, oil filters, and bulk oil.
