Recently Graduated (June) from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in Advertising with a minor in International Business.

After completing a six week internship with OgilvyAction in Dubai, I am currently seeking a Junior Account Executive role within a top advertising agency. I am extremely passionate about marketing communications and in particular the potential of brand activation to impact consumers and change their behaviour.

I always strive to be an integral part of my team in work, sport or helping the community. My experiences through both geographical and cultural situations have helped evolve my abilities as a person – efficient, outspoken and determined.

6 week internship reporting directly to the Business Director.

Pond’s: Destino Gold Radiance – In charge of sourcing a suitable Event Management Agency to brief them on the branded staff event and product launch requirements. Organized the consumer competition-draw prizes; briefing five-star hotels across U.A.E, Oman and Qatar which best suited the creative direction.

Sunsilk: Tasked with researching Universities within U.A.E and Kuwait, including insights into demographics, communication opportunities and developed campaign event timeline.

SupermaxRazor:Assigned with producing a competitor matrix – I provided extensive market research about the client, insights of its competitors, product information and target audiences.Presented to the Account team and Regional Director.

BAT: Dunhill Fine Cut Event – Wrote several champagne cocktail descriptors in line with the brand essence.

Top 10 Brands of Facebook

Tasked with educating the team on how the Top 10 Global brands on Facebook engage with their consumers. Analysed the driving force of fan conversations, brand engagement and direction of consumers to their page as well as offline activation methods.Presented to the OgilvyAction Team and Directors to acclaimed feedback.

OgilvyAction Away Day

Main driver behind the company away-day for local OgilvyAction but also regional and global management. Working with the Account Director, given responsibility for organising the whole event from booking and branding the venue, team building exercise, evening entertainment and full budget control.

Other duties included stock consolidation, stock order acceptance and stock-take. Team versatility and cooperation consistently placed our store in the top three out of 35.

Four months after joining, I was tasked to manage the ladies department every Friday for the late night trade.My strong communication skills helped me delegate tasks and allocate roles amongst my team of nine.

Appointed by eight other members of my team as the Project Account Director.Responsibilities include; division of tasks, briefing, setting objectives, situation analysis, timeline, budgeting for the entire campaign as well as team motivation and engagement.

Awarded best Creative Big Idea for this campaign out of six entries.

Rebuilding of Karagac Village Elementary School: 2004-2005

Set up a fundraiser to buy equipment and tools needed to build a small theatre and playground for the underprivileged neighbouring school, raising US $4,000.

IICS – Indonesia Tsunami Victims Donations Organisation: 2004

Raising enough supplies (packaged food, drinks and clothes) to supply over 100 families for a month each.

Orphanage Care Taker: 2003

Part of a group of 15 other students who decided to spend three hours every third week spending time with orphaned kids.

Karagac Village Food Distribution: 2003

The complete organisation of donating food and clothing to the lower income families in the village located near our school.We were able to gather food for over 40 families thanks to the rallying of this fundraiser throughout our school grades and theatre presentations.
