A strong educational foundation paved the way for Todd Skocki to become an instructor for educational programs serving at-risk youths. After earning his Associate of Science from Atlantic Cape Community College in 1991, Skocki went back to school and in 2003 earned his Bachelor's of Arts from Thomas Edison State College, where he was named to the Dean's list. Following his graduation, Todd Skocki became certified as a substitute teacher and spent one year filling in for teachers in three different New Jersey counties. Skocki's experience as a substitute helped him earn a position as a Regular Education Classroom Teacher in Vineland, New Jersey, where he led a transitional bilingual classroom for fourth grade students. Working in a specialized educational setting, Skocki taught lessons covering mathematics, reading, writing, science, and social studies. In 2009, Todd Skocki became an Academic Instructor at the Woodstock Job Corps Center in Woodstock, Maryland, a position he currently holds. At Job Corps he leads classes designed to provide vocational training and education services to disadvantaged and at-risk youth, thus preparing them for entry into the workforce. Skocki is a TABE and GED instructor and also serves as an instructor for online high school classes offered by the organization. He has twice been recognized as his office's Employee of the Month. While working at Job Corps, Skocki again returned to school and earned his Master's of Science in Management from Minot State University. The degree program was offered in conjunction with the Job Corps Executive Management Program.
