IT Director

Liberty Hospital

Currently performing CIO duties as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team. 

Manages an IT department staff comprised of 20+ highly trained team members andsupports enterprise solutions for all departments, including HR, AP/GL, Financial Decision Support, Financial Risk Management, Web, Intranet, and more.  

Developed and implemented a cutting-edge technology solution which received $2.7M in government reimbursement—now working on phase two and staying on the leading edge of industry technology. 

Manages an operating budget of $2M and a capital budget of $2.4M—consistently conducting operations at or under budget every year. 

Conducted a core network infrastructure replacement, increasing access speed 1000 times—and reducing annual expansion costs from $200K+ to under $30K. 

Reduced costs $250K annually and increased mission critical system fault tolerance 100%.  Updated outdated data storage and physical servers to reduce operations expenses $80K annually.  

Responsible for high exposure migrations to new equipment and software, with an impeccable track record of smooth and issue-free execution.  

Supports and provides customer service, which directly generates $1.2M annually

Leading an IP telephony migration which will result in cost savings of $30K each year.  

Handles all technical aspects of the business, including business, security, anti-virus, graphical, web, and artwork elements.  Upgraded wireless infrastructure, improving communication for employees and customers.

Modified remote hosting setup, bringing it in-house and eliminating $10K in annual subscription fees.  

Replaced antiquated paper reporting system with electronic solution, reducing operating and material costs over $5K. 

Virtualized services to decrease footprint, electrical, cooling, and maintenance expenses—cutting $5K annually.
