At the present day I'm working at Tryp Lisboa Oriente as Reservation Agent where I'm responsible for the reservations and all of its management of the hotel. I took my degree in Hotel Management and a Masters in Digital Marketing at Universidade Europeia, a member of Laureate International Universities, and during school I had one month and half of trainee as Reservations Agent in Corinthia Lisbon hotel where I had as well formation in E-Commerce and Revenue Management. After the degree, I had a internship at Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade in the Reservations department for three months, where I helped as well the Comercial Department in Sales Blitz in Christmas and formation in Revenue Management. After a small experience at Palacio Ramalhete I entered in Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade again as Reservations Agent where I worked for one year and a half. I fluently speak Portuguese, Spanish, English, I understand basic French and attended one German language course in the past. My language skills make me more than an asset for any company, since I speak 3 of the top 5 most spoken languages in the world. My job experiences made me responsible, reliable and eager to learn, and where I lack in experience I make up for hardworking and fast learning.
—Introduction of the reservations at Newhotel system, for both companies or personal title; following up of the emails, telephone, and direct contact with the customer; Contact with intermediary agencies, and online channels or extranets of the tour operators for any matter related to the reservations at the hotel. When needed I hel as well the Front Desk: check-ins, check-outs, concierge.
—Introduction of the reservations in Opera system, for both companies and personal reasons; following up of the email, telephone, and direct contact with the customers; preparation of the reservations for the next day delivered daily at the front desk; No- shows and overbookings management. My job was also supervised by calling(mystery calls) for evaluation requirements in particular telephone answering, having largely achieved a level 98% classification. Contact with intermediate agencies to any matter relating to the reservations at the hotel. I performed some corporate proposals during the absence of the Sales Executive and management of the availability in the extranets of the several agencies and tour operators in the absence of the E-Commerce.
— Internship in the Commercial Department have carried out the following functions in the area of Reservations: Reservations and Merge Profiles in Opera; file; preparation of the reservations where each day had to deliver at the reception for the next day; I Learned the tasks of an ecommerce: pricing and achieving a table BAR, working with the Hotel Website. I attended one of the weekly meetings where the teams determine what they achieve in the previous week and what they have to do in the following(briefing). They showed me some knowledge of the functions of a Director of Revenue Management.
With an avarage 15/20 I had the several subjects: Business Negotiation, Relationship Marketing, Cyberculture and Behavioral Consumer Online, Data Analysis, Research Methodologies, New Media and Channels Online Business Digital and eCommerce, Digital Marketing Research, Digital Branding, Social Media Marketing, Search and Mobile Marketing, Trade Marketing and Digital Promotions; My thesis Master was: Case Study: Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade which I had 16/20.
