Responsible for investor relations. Interacted with potential investors and Wall Street investment firms regarding the company's current and projected performance. Led a staff of 120 employees and developed strategic business partnerships with division heads to influence 14,000 employees to engage in significant process and cultural change. Resulted in twelve consecutive quarters of profitable growth.

    Developed the base business strategy, resulting in the financial and operational turnaround of the organization. Imbedded market segmentation as a strategic imperative for management of the customer base. Key decisions on customer pricing, support and acquisition were based on this imperative. Implemented Activity Based Management in all business functions in a 14-month time frame during simultaneous SAP R/3 installation. Aligned incentive compensation with Economic

    Value Added; Developed and implemented a hybrid strategy of the balanced scorecard concept to support EVA strategy – the Business Alignment Model. The Business Alignment Model brought clarity to all employees on their personal contribution and its place in accomplishing the business plan.

    Team member of group that developed the strategy to jettison the family of Deluxe companies into separate operating units with a separate public stock. The strategy resulted in the IPO of eFunds and positioned Paper Payments as an independent public entity. Team member that established Indian operations for back office activities and processes. Performed strategic reviews, due diligence and closings on acquisition candidates ranging from $25 million to $1 billion.
