Digital Assets - Acct Executive

Royal Caribbean International

I am the administrator for a multimedia asset library with 30,000+ users. I conduct daily interactions with international users of various levels and abilities. The library serves as a central shared resource for sharing assets through three distinct company portals, as well as one consumer facing portal. Manage ingest and optimization of assets ranging from marketing reports and still images to raw B-roll or commercially produced videos. Manage and organize all property and talent releases and ensure validity where needed. Responsible for expiring outdated assets and archiving appropriately. This position is a company-wide resource but is currently part of the marketing team. I manage the asset library relationship with an outside vendor and escalate and support or changes which may be needed as the tool evolves. Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting on usage, space and technical issues which may arise.

I successfully managed marketing projects by working closely with creative team members in different departments. I made the most efficient use of internal and external resources and talent to meet or exceed tight deadlines. These projects would vary from product promotional campaigns, online retail campaigns (web and email), sales support items, to updating product packaging for various global markets. 

I am the team leader responsible for driving development of the Great Calorie Drive (listed at right) a complex, global charity campaign involving a branded smartphone app, digital assets and print deliverables. The campaign website was translated into seven languages, along with promotional animated and static banners. As the largest charity effort by Zumba Fitness to date, this campaign involved top level executives, creative managers and legal professionals as well as outside stakeholders. Different creative teams were called upon to execute the deliverables, revisions and coding required at each stage. Campaign launches March 15th.

I was responsible for managing medium to large scale projects from concept to completion, while staying firmly within corporate branding standards. I also developed and leveraged relationships with outside suppliers to optimize costs, negotiate estimates, finalize project specifications, approve proofs and direct fulfillment on a recurring basis.

I worked directly with internal executives across the US to successfully launch projects by developing timelines, managing approvals and enforcing brand guidelines in a variety of critical projects. Projects varied from show support (banners, flyers, promotional items) to large sales and marketing initiatives.

I developed and maintained outside supplier relationships critical to project success. This involved reestablishing positive relationships with existing suppliers.

Print Production Coordinator

Originally hired on at Starboard as a graphic designer and was moved into a coordinator position to enable better management and control over complex print projects. I lead the production of four distinct 72-page catalogs, three times per year, for distribution on a majority of the world’s cruise ships. My role encompassed the management of teams for creative design, print production and complex fulfillment tasks.

I played an instrumental role in the department, which included coordinating photo shoots, catalog design and production, product placement and procurement, and complex delivery planning. I ensured that directives from the creative director were followed by both internal designers and external service providers. I managed external photographers, designers and video production houses in adhering to production schedules and provided critical logistical support in sending marketing materials to cruise ships at various ports around the world, on a continual basis.

I managed a 3-person team and was ultimately responsible for the technical accuracy of all files produced by the agency. I worked closely with the creative director and was an integral part of the creative team, from concepting to traffic and planning deadlines. Participated in new business pitches, often producing creative design proposals for the agency.

Responsible for the production of a range of creative deliverables for Florida Lottery and Carnival Cruises, meeting recurring tight deadlines. Oversaw the production of print work for daily newspapers, attended press checks, directed web designers  on creative executions and maintained high quality standards in all agency work.

I was instrumental in launching five distinct retail websites for a client under a tight deadline. Directly responsible for managing and assisting in a hands on technical manner with the remote web team. This leveraged my managerial and organization skills as well as my technical skills, assisting in web production and assisting programmers in interpreting design concepts for maximum impact.
