Profile

I am a broad-spectrum HR professional with an unique combination of project management, corporate communications and IT experiences. My passion is to infuse traditional HR topics with ideas from other disciplines. My educational background includes a Masters degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology (University of Berne), a Masters degree in Project Management (George Washington University), a Black Belt certification in Internal Communications, as well as additional trainings. My experiences cover operational, tactical and strategic fields, on the front line and on the corporate level: I've done classic HR work in recruitment, compensation, organization development, talent and performance management as well as employee engagement and employer branding. Furthermore, I have analyzed and re-designed processes, conducted complex statistical data analyses, created new sales training approaches as well as developed and implemented communication campaigns. I have led the HR strategic planning process of a major pharmaceutical company for three years and was the HR representative in its Social Media Catalyst team, advising the Chief Operating Officer. I am known as a skilled internal consultant, an intrapreneur who is able to bring the right people together, "translate" between various business terminologies, and get things done. My previous supervisors appreciate me as a person with outstanding analytical skills, the ability to balance details and big picture concerns, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
