Achievement Summary

  • Managed business transformation and technology projects:
    • KPN Telecom, Intelligent Networks solution, scoping, development and deployment of software solution into the Operational Support System and integration with other management systems, reporting and API integration with IN transmission and switching network. This project utilised the TMF-TMN/IN frameworks for the provision of it's services.
    • Telecom NZ, TMN Network Management System for national transmission network. Managed the scoping, negotiation and deployment of the network based solution. Integration with equipment, mediation and signalling and legacy SCADA networks.
    • Victoria Police, scoping, negotiation and management of the integrated Learning management system for all levels of standard and secure training into restricted and secure networks.
    • While with Catalyst IT was responsible for the closing and customer commercial negotiations with in excess of 25 clients over a 2 year period. Common tasks performed were: requirements scoping, commercial negotiations, development and infrastructure architecture, software development and operations teams, deployment, operational support and ongoing customer management. Project management methodology varied based on customer requirements but ofter a hybrid approach of waterfall (traditional) methodology and agile development techniques utilising Kanban.
      Some customers include: Toll Logistics, Victoria Police, Open Universities and their subsidiaries, Alfred Hospital (Vic), University of Queensland.
    • Security projects while with World ID Verification (WIDV), included scoping, architecture, API and other software development, deployment and support for a variety of customer types to ensure, identity verification through facial biometrics and other real or near real-time identity verification methods. In addition developed AML/CTF capabilities to support financial, legal and government agencies with their legislated requirements both in Australia and globally. Researched, tested, selected and negotiated commercial agreements with a range of security industry providers to incorporate their technologies into the WIDV solution.
      Designed, built and deployed a global solution within 12 weeks, which was then extended with a rolling test and enhancement program. The development solution was ISO 9003, 27001 and PCI-DSS compliant. Instituted while at WIDV ISO 9000, 20000 and 27001 accreditation programs.
