Working Student

SAP Nederland BV, 's-Hertogenbosch

In line with my graduation assignment I am conducting a research project in SAP's Global Procurement Department (GPO). 

The project's aim is to evaluate  the suitability of three alternative applications  for the department's currently used procurement reporting system followed by designing standard report templates (e.g. "ABC Analysis") on global commodity level.

Internship

PricewaterhouseCoopers AG, Cologne

My internship period at one of the world's leading audit firms was divided into two phases.

During the first phase I have supported recruitment activities by supervising application tests. Next to that I was part of a project team focusing on the development of an expansion strategy for a Competence Centre as part of a PwC Europe initiative.

Throughout the second half of my internship I was part of a year-end audit of a DAX 30 company.

Personal Interests

During my leisure time I go on hiking as well as cycling trips with friends.

Another hobby of mine is to explore new cities and getting to know people through weekend couch surfing trips among Europe.

With "Business Processes" and "Accounting Information Systems" as two major components of my educational career, I have developed a personal interest in the potential of automation and "Big Data". This interest has encouraged me to start teaching myself a programming language (Python).

Other interests include reading as well as music (especially oldies).
