Tiffany Dubin brings to her work at Sotheby’s a wealth of experience from a wide range of positions in the worlds of art, fashion, and collecting. Prior to her current position, Ms. Dubin served as Director of Business Development at Heritage Auctions, Inc. In this context, Ms. Dubin established business relationships between the world’s largest auctioneer of collectibles and lawyers managing large estates and bankruptcy proceedings, seeking rare currency, entertainment memorabilia, and vintage publications to satisfy Heritage’s clients.

Before accepting the position at Heritage Auctions, Tiffany Dubin worked as a Decorative Arts Specialist and Appraiser for the now defunct Tepper Galleries, Inc., in New York City. Building her knowledge base, Ms. Dubin handled the evaluation of property for consignment and managed every step of the sales process between seller and buyer. For every consignment, Ms. Dubin led the marketing and advertising efforts, directed the photography of the lot, and provided the consignee an estimate of the collection’s value at auction. Tiffany Dubin also served as the lead specialist for single-owner collections such as The David Barrett Collection and The Lawrence Collection.

Ms. Dubin previously held consultancy positions for eBay and Dom Perignon. She also opened Tiffany Dubin’s Lair, a boutique in Henri Bendel’s famed fashion department store, where she offered vintage home furnishings and her own line of small gift items and stationery. She published a book with Harper Collins in 2000 entitled, Vintage Style.

A graduate of Georgetown University, Tiffany Dubin holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. In 2008, she completed New York University’s Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts Program. In addition, Ms. Dubin is certified in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). She enjoys learning and continues to undertake coursework at universities.

Tiffany Dubin resides in New York City, and when not learning about art or visiting museums, enjoys practicing yoga and dancing.
