Warehouse Worker

Berrien Spring Distribution Company

Gathering items from shelves from a list for customers and/or paper work done by the shift leader. Restocking shelves with new items brought in by trucks. Experience in driving a forklift to remove pallets from trucks that brought in new shipments of items to be restocked in the warehouse. Experience in managing 5 to 10 people and running operations to make sure that the right items are loaded and unloading to and from the correct truck.

the Distribution company I worked for had between 100 and 300 customers, so the people had to find the items and place them on pallets to be shipped off. My job was to have them unload the correct pallets from the trucks, make sure it was the right items that had to come to our shop. Then make sure that all the items were placed on the correct shelves. I also had to go through the items on the shelves to make sure when we had to order more or if we had to much of one thing.
