Thomas Vivirito

The president of the electric lighting retailer Light Brothers since 1983, Thomas Vivirito builds on a company history that stretches back to the late 19th century, when three Sicilian brothers immigrated to the United States and began to manufacture lamps and lighting fixtures. Ultimately settling in Chicago, Illinois, the brothers opened their first store on the corner of Lake Street and LaSalle Street. Under Thomas Vivirito’s management, the modern-day Light Brothers operates out of a showroom in Lombard, Illinois.

Thomas Vivirito’s responsibilities with Light Brothers extend to all areas of daily operations and strategic direction including management and operations including procedural optimization, project coordination, marketing outreach, customer/supplier relations, online sales development, and information technology oversight. To inform and expand his professional activities, he attends both the Lightovation International Lighting Conference and the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition on a regular basis. Mr. Vivirito is also an active member of the American Lighting Association.
