About Thomas Tolli

A board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon, Thomas Tolli, MD, has been practicing medicine for nearly three decades. He serves as an orthopedic surgery specialist at Edward White Hospital in Saint Petersburg, Florida, and as the director of spine surgery at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. Familiar with a wide range of conditions, from annular tears and herniated discs to accident-related disorders and spinal stenosis, he offers a comprehensive treatment plan that includes surgery and physical therapy to help with pain management. Throughout the course of his career, Dr. Thomas Tolli has focused largely on treating professional, amateur, and recreational athletes and he has become nationally recognized for his work.

Dr. Thomas Tolli received his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine before going on to complete his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery. He honed his skills as a spine surgeon through his work at such health care organizations as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and St. Luke’s Hospital Center along with his work as a spine specialist and consultant for a number of sports teams before starting his current work in Florida. Additionally, Dr. Tolli has given a number of presentations and lectures before such groups as the American Sports Medicine Institute and the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society.
