Fascinated with all aspects of the sales process, from information gathering and research, lead-generation, initial contact (phone, e-mail, social-networking and indirect presentation of information), follow-up, sale and continuous contact. Have been very successful in web hosting, design and SEO sales for the past 6 years, due to my proactive approach. My success has come from the fact that, most companies in the Internet industry rely too much on the search engines to bring them business. Anyone loves to get traffic from websites, but the search engines are so saturated that one has to use many other methods to be successful. Use a combination of SEO, cold-calling, e-mails, walk-ins and social networking to meet and maintain customers. Personal view that social networking is the future of Sales. Have increased company’s revenue through a combination of sales of web hosting and increasing of billing terms for existing customers during tough economic times. Created Spanish-language version of the company’s website: www.web-hospedaje.net, as well as a website to assist current and potential customers to design, optimize, submit and maintain their websites for the search engines (www.freewebsitehelp.net). Was able to achieve #3 ranking in Google out of 56 million sites under the terms “free website help”, using the tools from the site. Am in charge of lead generation for the Sales Department and all outbound sales efforts. I increased the standards for the Sales Department and tried to convert it into a group of professionals who do not watch the clock, and are not just sitting around waiting for the phone to ring.
