Summary

Since 2008, Pastoral Administrator Father Thomas Maikowski has brought a long history of rigorous schooling and service to parishioners at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Page, Arizona. After more than 30 years in New Mexico, Thomas Maikowski exported his knowledge and capabilities to serve the Page, Arizona, Catholic community.

Father Thomas Maikowski currently splits his time among his duties at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, the Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. From 1984 to the present day, the Kirtland Air Force Base has benefited from Thomas Maikowski’s service as a United States Air Force Base Reserve Chaplain. The United States Air Force Academy similarly enjoys Thomas Maikowski as an Admissions Liaison Officer, a post he has held since 1992.

Mainly serving in the Northern New Mexico region, Father Thomas Maikowski plays a variety of roles, including Defender of the Bond Tribunal, Diocesan Scouting Chaplain, Adjunct College Instructor at San Juan College, and a crucial functionary in the Ministry to Sisters. Lending his assistance to sisters of the cloth, Thomas Maikowski has conducted convent masses, retreats, spiritual conferences, workshops, seminars, and counseling since 1976. Thomas Maikowski remains committed to all aspects of the Catholic faith, from religious services to education.

Ordained a priest in 1976, Father Thomas Maikowski helped to found an enduring tradition of high-quality academics in his expansive region. A former teacher, administrator, principal, and superintendent of several parochial schools, Thomas Maikowski also maintained a dedication to further his own education. Thomas Maikowski holds two doctoral degrees from the University of San Francisco and Saint Louis University, four Master’s degrees, and two Bachelor’s degrees, all of which were earned over a 20-year period.
