Janet McDonald memorial cancer walk for Dana Farber Cancer Institute for Immuno-theropy. Assisted and participated in for 14 years to honor my deceased wife and raise money for research @ Dana Farber. Personally donated large sums to DFCI. My company donates to the Pan-Mass Challenge and other charities.
Youngest son is in boy scouts and my wife and I are actively involved.
A longtime resident of Hanover, Massachusetts, Thomas C. McDonald, leads the Holbrook firm Infra-Red Building and Power Service, Inc. For the past 22 years, his company has undertaken electrical distribution equipment and maintenance assignments for hospitals as well as industrial and commercial clients. Mr. McDonald emphasizes an efficient approach in assessing auto-transfer systems and protective relay circuits and performing complex control wiring. The team competently works with low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment. After graduating from Hingham High School, Mr. McDonald pursued studies at Massasoit Community College and the University of Massachusetts at Boston. A Master Electrician, he has obtained Level 4 NETA Test Technician status and is certified as a Level One Thermographer. He has notably leveraged his electrical engineering knowledge in developing an in-depth training program for employees that ensures up-to-date technical capacities. Thomas C. McDonald gained early career experience with companies such as Electrical Testing and Maintenance Co., Inc., General Dynamics Corp., Honeywell International, Inc., and Russelectric, LLC. Since 1995, he has held co-owner responsibilities with Atlantic Controls, a Holbrook firm that manufactures equipment for DC power and lighting. Mr. McDonald and his team also serve as manufacturers’ representatives for numerous GE, Powersmith, and Hennig product lines. An active member of the Hanover community, Thomas C. McDonald has participated in the “Janet McDonald” memorial walk in memory of his late wife for the past 17 years. The event benefits the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s immunotherapy research efforts, to which he has contributed substantially on an individual level. In addition to a passion for camping in the Hanover area, Mr. McDonald enjoys traveling to Caribbean destinations and has visited Aruba each year for more than a decade.
