  • Led the greenfield product development of a click platform for insurance advertising, Delty.     
  • Worked in Denver with a team of five developers using AWS architecture to produce the platform on an aggressive four month schedule - taking the platform live in November 2016.  Filled the dual roles of Product Owner and Scrum Master for this development effort.
  • With Business sponsors and UX resources located in Seattle, I coordinated all communication and deliverables between these teams and our development team in Denver.  Defined all functional requirements and oversaw product validation across all browsers & devices.  
  • Work directly with executive stakeholders, sales resources and customers to define and prioritize a product road map that supports product vision.   Communicate progress, risk, failures and success at the corporate level.
  • Monitor daily performance and financial metrics of the Delty product to ensure both the reliability of the system as well as the revenue performance.  Communicate issues as they arise and work with appropriate teams to provide resolution.
  • Work directly with insurance providers to ensure our product is meeting their needs and obtaining feedback to drive future enhancements to improve the product.
  • Since going live in November 2016, Delty has generated more that $2M in revenue and is on target to exceed $30M in revenue for 2017.

  • Led team of five software engineers, one test engineer, a product manager and an analyst to support click advertising platform for major insurance companies.  
  • As Subject Matter Expert for this product, involved in all aspects of its operation, including  product improvements, defining requirements and acceptance criteria,  scheduling development, defining test, coordinating deployment, customer support and production support/monitoring.
  • Following an Agile Methodology, acted as Scrum Master for the team,  leading all planning, SCRUM and retrospective meetings, working on a two week sprint cycle.
  • Define product changes into deliverable/testable requirements.  Work with UX designers to improve product usability.  Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements are delivered as defined.  Interface directly with customers to triage issues as they arise.
  • While leading this team, the revenue of our product rose from $2M to $6M per month.  The ClickRate product accounted for 40%+ of company revenue.

  • Working with a small team, was sole QA resource for a new revenue model of click generation for the insurance market and was integral to all aspects of SDLC from product definition through production support.
  • Acted as Quality Lead for greenfield development of  a advertising click platform targeting the insurance carriers.   Participated in product definition and coordinated all test & deployment activities for this broad effort. This product, ClickRate, was developed using .NET and went live in December 2010. 
  • Continued to support development and maintenance of ClickRate product as Subject Matter Expert and Senior QA Engineer before being promoted to Product Team Lead.
