Widely known as a Division 1 college baseball pitcher competing at a high level, Thomas Altimont was able to complete his education while competing in Division 1 Baseball. Thomas is a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a Minor in Business. He hopes to be able to start a career in sales, insurance, finance or banking in the future. By capably balancing sports and studying, Thomas Altimont has been able to prove that he knows how to prioritize things when it comes to goal setting. Prior to attending Abilene Christian, Thomas Altimont had already completed an Associate’s degree in General Studies at McLennan Community College. This he also successfully achieved while pitching two years for McLennan CC NJCAA Baseball.

Known for his selfless attitude, Thomas Altimont served as Camp Trainer/Coach for Abilene Christian University Baseball for two months from May 2014 to June 2014 in the Abilene, Texas Area. The job involved helping coach more than 80 kids ages 8 to14 with baseball, leadership, as well as team and relationship skills. In addition, Mr. Altimont’s coaching experience has also been enriched by his spending his Internship as Coach for Abilene Christian University Strength and Conditioning from January 2014 to June 2014 in the Abilene, Texas Area. While on the job, Thomas supervised both baseball and football programs as a strength and conditioning coordinator. He also researched and designed individualized training solutions and protocols for different sports to maximize their effectiveness.

In May 2013, Thomas worked as a Grocery Clerk at Publix Super Markets to support himself while participating in a summer volunteer internship program. Before that, Thomas had done Internship work at Lockton Retirement Services in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area from May 2012 to August 2012. His responsibilities at Lockton included: research and creation of a database of local ERISA attorneys and CPAs for the firm’s sales team; filing of client reports in regulatory files; and production of proposal books for sales presentations.
