Organized the Biz Lunch, a monthly networking event in Barcelona for high-profile members of the international business community. Worked closely with sales team to develop and nurture client relationships. Sourced venues in Spanish, generated new leads and worked existing relationships leading to a 60 percent increase in membership in four months. Negotiated contracts with restaurants and hotels to ensure the best value for members. Organized multi-cultural events, meetings, volunteer opportunities and classes to help integrate the two communities. Worked alongside the tourist office as an events consultant to promote Alella, Spain as a destination for corporate events. Events included a corporate retreat for diplomats from the European Commission, meetings, weddings and a wine tasting event during local elections.
