I am a graduate of the University of Portsmouth, having read BA (Hons) Business Enterprise Development, currently residing near Maidstone, Kent. 

I am an entrepreneurial and tenacious person, committed to deliver the best possible results when working on any project I am challenged with. A true hunter with a strong and ever growing network in the ecommerce industry.

As a Sales and Account Manager at North Payments, I closed deals with companies in an array of low, medium and high risk industries, delivering excellent service to meet their needs being at the forefront of my work. This is proven through when I was on a commission only basis, working long hours from home developing  business relationships, negotiating and closing deals with key decision makers being an important element of of my success.

In my current role as a Business Development Manager at Allied Wallet, I hunt opportunities for partnering with Payment Service Providers and independent resellers to drive our merchant portfolio as well as the usual sales process of onboarding  low/medium/high risk merchants in a variety of industries, from inception to completion.

I have found myself to have an innate ability for problem solving and strategic thinking. This has enabled me to lead teams effectively and create innovative solutions to a multitude of tasks.

My previous experience includes retail, catering, online marketing, strategy, sales, negotiation, account management and search engine optimisation, as well as managerial roles. I always work to put my clients first, learn new skills and progress myself further.

Building upon my existing experience within the payments industry, I am doing all of the things in my previous role with onboarding merchants, but now with a much larger focus on building long term strategic partnerships with Payment Service Providers, Independent Sales Organizations and individual resellers to drive business for Allied Wallet's Acquiring Services. 

Responsibilities include:

- Working closely with senior management and all teams in the organisation to ensure we provide the very best possible service to our partners and merchants from relationship inception to completion of integration.

- Building and managing long lasting, trustworthy relationships with our partners and merchants to ensure longevity and mutually beneficial advantages. This is achieved through negotiation and agreement on a variety of different factors including price and best service delivery practices, combined with excellent account management.

- Building an expanding network of through consistent communication and meetings with new and existing partners and merchants.

- Using multiple sources in order to identify and close new ecommerce opportunities.

Working closely with the CEO as part of a in a small sales team, I found and developed new business, maintaining a consultative sales process from inception to completion, offering merchant accounts through our banking network, providing sophisticated payments gateway and telephone ecommerce payment technologies to global companies as well as start-ups, across multiple industries.

My responsibilities included:

- Utilising multiple sources to find new leads, communicating and converting that lead.

- Working in a small focused sales team to help grow customer base 300% since company inception.

- Average of 50 calls per day, with follow up emails and calls as well to close.

- Successfully negotiating complex business cases with some of the largest Forex companies,  closing the sale and successfully onboarding them and  of payment gateway for their websites, including consulting on corporate structure and website layout for compliance.Consulting with potential and existing merchants to discover their payment needs and provide payment solutions, 

- Focus on Forex and high net  driving businesses to maximise revenues

- Negotiating with merchants in order to provide the most competitive pricing we can whilst maximising revenue

- Acting as a liaison between merchant banks and merchants in order to make the sales process as easy as possible for our merchants whilst collating KYC and company documentation for merchant account applications

I worked as part of a team alongside three other interns in an online advertising campaign covering every town in the UK. I developed an innovative solution which exponentially increased our productivity and efficiency in the campaign. I was promoted to manage the team whilst we implemented this solution, halving the time expected to complete the campaign. 

Tasks included: researching keywords and writing web based adverts, utilising Google Adwords in the campaign in order to maximise brand exposure, using a variety of techniques in order to improve organic search results, content writing and link building.   I performed competitor analysis and market research, website mining for data analysis and search engine optimisation, campaign management and brand development for clients.

University Module 

I worked in a team of three students in conjunction with 'Loadbalancer', a high-tech computing firm. Our task was to analyse the company and help improve their performance in all aspects.

I conducted in depth market research and investigated ways of increasing product distribution in the Canadian market. Research into the business revealed and resolved issues. For example, the Canadian website had no option for French language. The team secured a contract with a French translation company to translate the website and ultimately negotiated a reduced price for this service.

Processing hundreds of prospective students each day, I effectively communicated with speakers of numerous languages. Given the numerous language barriers this was a difficult task that I overcame with patience and clear communication.
