I am a confident and committed young women who is passionate about her career. I believe that I am able to work independently or within a team. I am willing to put in extra hours if and when needed and also not afraid to share any ideas or opinions. I have taken part in a range of cooking displays/shows with taste of the west and also have awards in culinary challenges. I would like the opportunity to expand my skills and knowledge within the industry to progress my career. i can work in all aspects of a kitchen but specify in pastry. i would also be willing to do a trial if needed to.
Hospitality and catering in the hospitality, passenger transport, travel and tourism sector
I started off as an apprentice and worked my way up through the ranks to become chef de partie. I frequently run kitchen services by myself or with other members of the team. My main duties are daily prep,menu changes, dessert making and daily services.
Participating in the running of the restaurant area by taking food and drink orders, serving the food and drink and attending to customer needs such as dietary requirements and making sure these were known to the kitchen and other staff. Cleaning down my station after service.
