Since 2010, Terrell Herring has served as President of Commercial Operations for Mission Pharmacal Company. A privately held pharmaceutical firm in San Antonio, Texas, Mission Pharmacal focuses on identifying and meeting patients’ health care requirements at every stage of life through the development of high-quality prescription and over-the-counter products.
Prior to joining Mission Pharmacal, Terrell Herring was President and Chief Operating Officer of inVentiv Health, Inc., in Somerset, New Jersey. Herring helped to build inVentiv Health into a primary global source of clinical, commercial, and communications services for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. Herring was hired as inVentiv’s National Business Director in 1999; he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Sales before ascending to the position of President and COO in 2007. Herring previously held executive sales positions with Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Solvay Pharmaceuticals, and Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals.
Terrell Herring graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He went on to pursue graduate studies in pharmacology at Fairleigh Dickinson University and earned his MBA from Pacific Western University. Herring also received graduate certificates in project design from Mercer University School of Engineering and in international marketing from Duke University and London Business School.
Terrell Herring has served on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Kirkwood Camp, and he was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of Archway Marketing Services, Inc., a marketing fulfillment services leader since 1952.
