Passionate Christian nurse educator with extensive teaching experience in the clinical, classroom and simulation setting. Proven track record over the last seven years of successful professional experience  teaching fundamentals  I and II, medical - surgical, maternal child and pediatrics. Devoted to mentoring student nurses in their Christian walk as well as their profession, leading by example, praying with and communicating with students inside as well as outside the classroom and clinical setting.  Serving as academic advisor to approximately thirty-five students each year. Personally responsible for substantially increasing  clinical sites in the Fort Wayne area doubling and sometimes tripling availability within the hospital setting. Co- authoring a blended high risk OB simulation based class.  Implemented congruency throughout clinical syllabi including goals, outcomes and expectations.  Currently teaching at Indiana Wesleyan University, ranked in the top ten nursing schools in the country.
