Ted Rufo’s extensive experience includes landscaping and groundskeeping, as well as animal care. Most recently, Mr. Rufo maintained a private groundskeeping business out of Harmony, Rhode Island, from 2008 to 2012. As a self-employed professional, Ted Rufo oversaw ongoing maintenance of McCauley Harmony Estates, doing hiring and firing, and directing all on-site workers in various jobs, including estate maintenance, repair, tree care, painting, landscaping, pest control, and pool cleaning. Before this, Mr. Rufo was a groundskeeper with Knobby Hill Farm, in Millis, Massachusetts. Starting the job in 2006, he was responsible for care and maintenance of the entire estate, including the grounds, farm, and barn, as well as the estate's three llamas and two horses. Before that, Mr. Rufo was a groundskeeper and stable hand with the 2 H Farm, located in Weston, Massachusetts, where he cared for seven horses and supervised all maintenance for the farm's grounds and stable areas. Ted Rufo also possesses extensive custodial experience. Between 2003 and 2004, he was a custodian for the Fay School, in Southborough, Massachusetts. Largely self-directed in the role, he oversaw all general maintenance for the institution, directing the cleaning of hallways, classrooms, and restrooms. He also served as a custodian with the Dover Sherborn School, in Dover, Massachusetts, between 2000 and 2003. Mr. Rufo graduated from Keefe Technical and Vocational School in 1983. Before his study at the Framingham, Massachusetts, facility, he attended Framingham North High School.In addition to his work as a landscaper and groundskeeper, Ted Rufo enjoys a variety of recreational activities, including sports, singing, cooking, and collecting books. An avid outdoorsman, he also loves to hike, canoe, kayak, camp, and go deep-sea fishing.
