- as part my the extra curricular activities, I ran Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots group for 3 years

-part of the "Rights and Responsibilities" task force, word study and writing task force, Social Studies UBD team, Time task force, Author Committee

- part of the team which conducted informational workshops to parents on "Literacy in the classroom"  and "Real Spelling" 

-part of the team which ran an informational workshop on "Real Spelling" to the UES teachers
