Responsible for architecting new databases, interfaces and access methods as well as information systems security, system availability and business process analysis. Management Consultation • Advised management on technical functions. Supervised performance of various critical databases based on several applications (Internal/Third party Remedy ticketing system, E Help) across changing designs. • Leveraged Oracle’s RMAN utility to facilitate backup and recovery. Administered databases based on third party product TOAD and Oracle Enterprise Management. • Streamlined application and database performance to enhance throughput. Oversaw deployment of Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, Streams, RAC on ASM and Veritas Cluster to expedite business continuity. Data Warehouse Management • Assumed responsibility for overseeing a data warehouse project.
