Career Statement

An organized, self motivated and skilled liberal arts graduate who has extensive experience with mentoring and leading teams. Possessing excellent listening, communication and conflict resolving skills that facilitate clear communication with teammates in an easy going, yet professional fashion. Having exceptional mulit-tasking and a delegative leadership style, all of which are imperative when working closely with students and staff in an education setting.

Now looking to use my unique skill set to help further the education and success of higher education students through a regional university or college.

Faith Church Valparaiso

Responsibilities included scheduling, training and mentoring the tech volunteers at Faith Valpo. Set up and organized the entire program for the visual design team for the campus when the doors opened in 2006.               Lead major meetings that involved volunteers from all of Faith Church's campuses.

Studied a communication based graphic design program. Strengthened my communication skills through a small group communications class as well as a travel study course to Washington DC. Was assigned to the LaPorte County Symposium Committee and gained valuable relational skills.

Experienced an intense training in design while studying downtown Chicago in the Fine Arts Building. Weekly exposure to the Merchandise Mart, Chicago Art Museum and various businesses.Trained in traditional practices of interior architecture and design.
