TFK Architects

I founded TFK Architects with a mission to bring principal-led project delivery, creativity and professionalism to the service of client needs.  My work with private developers, and individual clients has given me valuable experience in a broad range of project types.  My designs favor simple, elegant solutions to complex problems, always grounded in a thorough knowledge of codes, construction and materials.  Sustainable building practices are always an important part of my work.

Notable Projects

  • Hinojosa Residence, Bonita, CA - 3,500 sq.ft. home Addition, currently in design phases.
  • Portilla-Marchiori Residence, Washington, DC - Resolved the client's need for extra storage by design of an addition under the existing porch.  The design remains sensitive to match the existing style of the home, and resolves the technical dificulty of adding a sub-terranean room.
  • Lamont Residence, Washington, DC - Renovation of an old townhome, which in turn increased the developer's investiment by 300%.  The design maintained the integrity of local vernacular.
  • Various Drafting/Rendering Services - I Continue to provide quatlity drafting and rendering services for companies across the country.
