Her research interests lie in the interconnection of nurturing new designers, to producing reference books to aid the understanding process. Combined with an interest in developing enhanced fashion design curriculum, linking current industry policies and procedures to the learning objectives within education. Her overall goal is to evaluate and improve, and this can be achieved by constant interaction and evaluation of the classroom environment. She understands the creation process from fabric selection to apparel pattern, fitting, grading, sealing through to production and distribution.

Objective

My passion lies with my desire to educate designers of the future. My PhD aims to review and evaluate the way clothes are made for women, with the aim to add an innovative element of change. The findings will be a guide for future designers in the publication of a book and a CAD sizing system for block pattern generation. My overall goal is to evaluate and improve fashion education, and this can be achieved by my constant interaction and evaluation of the classroom environment.
