Oversaw operational activities of Shimelba refugee camp as related to vehicle movement, warehouse management, contracts and IRC staff security management.

Supervised programmatic activities and staff for the following programs: Education, Community Services (vocational training and Income Generation), and Psychosocial Program for Youth, and School Feeding Program.

Established a pre-school program for children of age 3-5 years old and enrolled over 240 children and trained 14 teachers. Developed a primary school into a high school that served over 1450 students and trained over 60 teachers.

Planed and led participatory needs assessment survey to find out the protection and assistance needs of 10,000 refugees and incorporated the findings in annual project proposals for UNHCR and the Bureau for Population, Refugees and Migration (BPRM).

Identified skill gaps and organized staff training for both national and refugee staff.

 Assisted the national program coordinator in preparation of annual project proposal and provided support to the field coordinator in developing contingency plan to ensure program continuity during the incident of national staff evacuation.

Established and led "Learning Center” that constitutes classrooms, a library, an auditorium, and a youth recreational area that has indoor and outdoor game facilities.

Started and managed the first computer training class for refugees and enrolled over 150 youth.
