Personal note

“The capacity to learn is a gift; The ability to learn is a skill; The willingness to learn is a choice.”

A lifelong learner and passionate working professional, based in Cape Town, South Africa.

I have a passion for children, animals and the more creative aspects of life. I too believe in a simplified life approach - life is about living and enjoying quality time with your loved ones - this is a motto that I try to live by.

My strengths revolve around attention to detail, being empathetic, organised but I am also very in tune with people’s feelings and sensitive to situations around me. The hospitality industry taught me a great deal, both from a work and life perspective. This, coupled with my current Executive Assistant and past Lead Course Coach role, I believe, has equipped me to handle any curveballs or stresses that the au pairing environment might throw at me. My role too as Lead Coach shows my love for mentoring and assisting others - which is where my love for education comes in. I hope to one day use the skills that I have obtained to help teenagers with their life choices, within a school context.
