  • Performed computational finite element analysis of multiple cracks occurred on cylindrical pressure vessel to determine the solution of stress intensity factors
  • Used Patran/Nastran software to develop 3D finite element model for pressure vessel containing multiple cracks
  • Used MS.Excel to calculate and analyze the normalized stress intensity factors for several crack configurations
  • Acted as a team member, providing other team members on data of the stress intensity factors as needed, and contributed to research of service life prediction and failure mode of cylindrical pressure vessel
