Dr. Sy Le began his path to becoming a doctor at the University of Texas Medical Branch, serving his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While serving as Chief Resident at this facility, he received a number of awards for his superior performance. Dr. Le then completed fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center located in Dallas, Texas. Currently, Dr. Le holds board certification in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and he is also among a small number of clinicians who have earned high complexity laboratory director (HCLD) certification to direct an embryology and andrology lab. His areas of special interest include disorders of the reproductive endocrine system such as irregular menstrual periods, abnormal sexual development, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), all of which can affect patients’ fertility. Dr. Sy Le also specializes in assisted reproductive technologies, hysteroscopy and operative laparoscopy procedures. Due to his outstanding performance with patients, Dr. Sy Le has received a number of honors throughout his career, including being selected as Consumers’ Research Council of America’s Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists, “Top Doc” by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine, and as “Super Doc” every year from 2004 to the present by Texas Monthly. Dr. Le maintains a lifetime membership in the American Medical Association. He also belongs to the Texas Medical Association, the American Association of Bioanalysts, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
