Production Manager

Thieves in the Night (Short Film)
Thieves in the Night is a London Film School graduation film written and directed by Sandra Tabet. Thieves in the Night follows Romain as he experiences death in all its brutality for the first time. He runs away to the sea and unexpectedly meets Vivian, an experienced woman whose strength gives him a feeling of security. With her he learns that sadness and peace are not incompatible. Often we are able to recognise our own feelings in others, but unable to see them in ourselves. As the production manager, my main responsibility has been reporting to the producer in making sure production is kept on track in the lead up to the shoot. I have been predominantly responsible for casting the three lead characters and simultaneously sourcing cast and crew based in Cornwall - where the shoot takes place. In addition to this, I have had a number of research tasks and implemented social media strategy throughout pre-production to support our crowd-funding campaign. I have also given consideration to life after production, researching suitable film festival and distribution routes for the film.
