  • Provide corporate strategic communications and public relations support; also support the communications needs of the Critical Care, Burn Centre and Infectious Diseases portfolios
  • Extensive editing and copywriting experience developed while creating content for the Sunnybrook Magazine, Sunnybrook’s internet and intranet, and the hospital-wide newsletter, "Your Health Matters"
  • Manage media campaigns by researching, writing and issuing news releases, coordinating media requests, facilitating interviews and providing support/coaching for members of the health care team being interviewed by media
  • Develop and pitch story ideas to media contacts and other external publications, such as Hospital News
  • Coordinate, shoot and edit videos using  iMovie with members of the health care team on interesting and newsworthy stories

Interests

I'm an avid skier - a former provincial champion and Junior National bronze medalist in women’s moguls. I also spent three years coaching young mogul skiers, and am a former Level II CSIA ski instructor. I enjoy being outdoors, cycling to work, boating and camping.
