  • Provide daily media monitoring and strategic communications support to the Critical Care Unit, Burn Centre and Infectious Diseases portfolios
  • Create written content for the Sunnybrook Magazine, Sunnybrook’s internet and intranet, and the hospital-wide newsletter, "Your Health Matters"
  • Manage media campaigns  for newly released studies  by researching, writing and issuing news releases, coordinating media requests, and providing support for members of the health care team being interviewed by media
  • Coordinate, shoot and edit short video interviews using  iMovie with members of the health care team on newsworthy stories

  • Screened and interviewed job applicants; provided on-boarding for new employees
  • Created the communications plan, timeline, and informational material for the annual Employee Engagement Survey, which was distributed to 3500 employees in Canada
  • Presented and facilitated day-long Corporate Orientation sessions each month, for groups of between 15 and 20 new employees
  • Managed the recruitment process for 20 to 50 jobs at a time

I'm an avid skier- a former provincial champion and Junior National bronze medalist in women’s moguls. I also spent three years coaching young mogul skiers. I also enjoy playing golf, boating and camping.
